What we support

The Trust welcomes applications for projects in the visual and performing Arts, music, literature, film, TV and Media which have a Canadian focus or theme. It gives financial support to individual and groups who seek to exhibit or perform their work in the UK.  

How to apply

The Trustees meet four times a year to consider applications. The average grant is between £1,000 and £2,000 although the Trust has awarded some grants for £5,000. Applicants should apply in writing or email to the Administrator at least six months before the start of the project. To be considered, applications must include:  

    • a full description of the project
    • background information on the applicant/s
    • a detailed budget
    • amount requested and its purpose
    • information on other funding sources
    • copies of available publicity materials
    • how the Trust would be acknowledged for its support.  
 

Exclusions

The Trust does not support travel and accommodation expenses or costs for work in development.
